One Day Wellness Workshop
"Yin Yang Yoga"
by Regi Kerschbaumer & Hilde Eiselen

Saturday 16th June 2007
Yoga Workshop specifically designed to release tension and allow free flow of the body's natural energies....

This enjoyable tonic for your health and wellbeing takes place on
Saturday 16th June.
The theme is YIN YANG YOGA; a wonderful opportunity to unwind and relax, restoring vital energy and feeling the natural surge of renewed life this spring! Feel strong and healthy and look your best!

Hilde teaches regular classes at several venues in the Wicklow area, including a series of
Six Weeks of Summer Yoga
starting on 19th June till the end of July.

For this weekend workshop, Hilde is joined by Regi Kerschbaumer from London, an expert in Yin Yang YOGA.  It’s a day specifically designed to release tension and allow free flow of the body’s natural energies. Yin postures gently stretch and rehabilitate the connective tissues forming our joints, and Yang strengthens the muscles, improves the circulation system and flexibility.

Suitable for yoga practitioners of any level, even beginners, Yin practice strengthens ‘chi’ and maintains the health of the meridians in the body, and is the ideal complement to dynamic or Yang forms of yoga. Regular yogis will learn to deepen their practice and enhance their sense of balance, power and stillness.

Yin & Yang forms of exercise are necessary and compliment each other; drawing on both the Indian systems of yoga and the Chinese systems of Taoism and acupuncture.  The Yang flow is a combination of Yoga and Tai Chi.

The fundamental characteristic of Yang Yoga is rhythmic movement that feels wonderful, strengthens and overall physical health and wellbeing.  Clearing the meridians of the lungs, heart, small and large intestines.

Above all Yin Yang Yoga is a gentle practice that brings yoga back to its meditative roots, teaching us to relax and accept ourselves just as we are.
