Yoga Teachers

Hilde Eiselen
Hilde attended her first Yoga classes with Ruth White in the early 1980s, in London. She has trained with Ruth, who is recognised as one of the UK's top teachers, for more than a decade and qualified at the Ruth White (Karuna) Yoga Centre in London. The Centre is a member of the International Yoga Teachers Association and a Yoga Alliance Registered School. Hilde attends regular teacher training courses abroad to keep her teaching inspired and up to date.

Alistair Reece
Alistair is a holistic medical doctor, acupuncturist, nutritionist, yoga teacher and Director of the Wexham Park Pain Management Programme in the UK. He visits Ireland to lead the series of Wellness Weekends with Hilde, offered by the Yoga Tree.

Ruth White
Ruth studied directly under B K S Iyengar in India, and established the Ruth White (Karuna) Yoga Centre in Cheam in Surrey, England. The centre is Iyengar-inspired and steeped in the tradition of his teaching. Ruth has been a leading force in the field of Yoga in the UK and Europe for over 25 years. Attending one of her weekends is highly recommended.
