What
you need to do Yoga
A willingness to try, allowing your body to go a little further each class, is all you need. This will allow you to work on stiff joints and tight muscles and restrictive fascia/connective tissue, easing the body and the mind, on the road to optimum health and vitality, irrespective of age or fitness.
Yoga Kit
Wear comfortable clothing in which you can stretch but that will not flop around your legs or over your head. Choose trousers that allow you to see your feet, such as leggings, or shorts for men, as their positioning is critical to many of the postures. Yoga is usually practised bare-foot.
You will need your own special non-slip Yoga mat, and most people like to use yoga blocks and a belt or yoga strap. A Yoga blanket and back archer are optional. Yoga kit is inexpensive and lasts for many years. No other work-out will cost you less! Golf clubs, riding. cycling or sailing gear or gym memberships are much more expensive.
Yoga Kit & Clothing is available to purchase from Yogatree.
We sell everything from sturdy organic mats and snugly blankets to durable back archers.
